Mourning Glory

September 2022. After the death of Queen Elizabeth II people around the world were mourning. In London you could see placates with pictures of her anywhere. People bringing flowers to Buckingham Palace. Queuing for up to 20 hours to see her coffin. Walking miles and waiting for hours to watch the funeral, be it in person or via public screening as like as in the Hyde Park.

The opinions about the monarchy and The Queen herself may differ, but there's no doubt about the following: She was outstanding. But also one of us. The outstanding one of us.

This is an extract of a documentary on the mourning, shot on several days in London, in September 2022.
